Painting on plexiglass

Painting on plexiglass is a technique in which colors are applied to a transparent or translucent acrylic sheet. The smooth surface of plexiglass often requires priming so that the paint adheres properly. Acrylic paints or glass paints are most commonly used. The painting can be done on the front or the back of the sheet; painting on the back creates a glossy and deep final result, as the image is viewed through the plexiglass.
